<p>[dropcap]G[/dropcap]empuran jaringan hotel internasional hingga Airbnb tidak menjadi ancaman bagi grup properti premium yang telah hadir sejak 2005 ini. Pencetusnya, Jose Luis Calle percaya bahwa tiap karakter yang disematkan pada tiap hunian menjadi daya tarik tersendiri. Selain itu, dengan adanya filosofi <em>passionforlife</em>, Lifestyle Retreats selalu ingin menghadirkan antusiasme tamu tiap kali berkunjung ke akomodasinya.</p>
<p>Di Indonesia, mereka telah membuka enam properti—yang keseluruhannya berada di Bali. Mulai dari The Menjangan dan The Balé Nusa Dua yang menjadi favorit di kalangan <em>honeymooner</em>, suasana privat The Amala Seminyak, The Santai Umalas yang ramah keluarga, IZE Seminyak yang memiliki arsitektur modern sehingga cocok untuk pelancong milenial, dan wisata retret di The Samata Sanur. Ke depannya, mereka tidak menutup kemungkinan untuk kembali membuka resor baru di Pulau Dewata, sebelum nantinya melebarkan sayap ke lokasi lain di Tanah Air.</p>
<p>Desain merupakan unsur yang penting. Grup Lifestyle Retreats berkolaborasi dengan banyak arsitek terpandang untuk tiap huniannya, seperti Patisandhika Sidarta, Antony Liu dan Ferry Ridwan dari Studio TonTon.  Selain interior, perusahaan ini juga memahami bahwa semakin banyak wisatawan dunia yang menginginkan hal baru saat menginap di suatu destinasi, sehingga mereka kerap menghadirkan beragam aktivitas menarik yang fokus pada pengalaman. Seperti menikmati makan malam romantis berdua dengan pasangan, layanan spa istimewa, bermacam aktivitas air, hingga kelas yoga.</p>
<p>Menandai ekspansinya ke luar negeri, September 2017 silam, Lifestyle Retreats telah membuka The Balé Phnom Penh di Kamboja, yang disusul oleh peresmian propertinya di Italia tahun ini.</p>
