[dropcap]B[/dropcap]eberapa waktu belakangan ini, Jepang tidak hanya agresif merilis objek-objek wisata impresif, namun juga membuka properti premium yang diharapkan dapat menggaet lebih banyak wisatawan. Pada bulan Desember tahun lalu, jaringan hotel Marriott International resmi membuka properti keduanya di Jepang. 
Diberi nama The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza, hotel ini beralamat di  2 Chome-8-13 Ginza, persis bertetangga dengan banyak pusat perbelanjaan dan restoran Michelin. Untuk interior hotelnya ditangani oleh desainer kondang Ian Schrager dan Kengo Kuma.
