[dropcap]A[/dropcap]sia&#8217;s 50 Best Bars resmi mengumumkan daftar bar terbaik asia 2026 dalam malam penganugerahan yang digelar di Wynn Palace, Macau, pada 28 Juli. Tahun ini, Hope &amp; Sesame di Guangzhou, Tiongkok, berhasil merebut posisi No.1 sekaligus menyabet gelar The Best Bar in Asia 2026.
Berdiri sejak 2016, Hope &amp; Sesame dikenal sebagai salah satu pelopor speakeasy di Guangzhou. Bersembunyi di balik restoran bergaya cha chaan teng, bar ini memadukan teknik mixology modern dengan bahan-bahan lokal serta cita rasa khas Tiongkok, menghasilkan koktail inovatif yang menjadi ciri khasnya.

Pencapaian ini membuat Hope &amp; Sesame mengambil alih posisi puncak dari Bar Leone di Hong Kong yang selama dua tahun terakhir bertengger di peringkat pertama. Hope &amp; Sesame juga mencatat sejarah sebagai bar pertama dari Tiongkok daratan yang berhasil menduduki posisi tertinggi sejak Asia&#8217;s 50 Best Bars pertama kali digelar pada 2016. Sementara itu, Zest dari Seoul menempati posisi kedua, diikuti Bar Leone di Hong Kong di peringkat ketiga.

Indonesia turut mencatatkan pencapaian terbaiknya dengan empat bar asal Jakarta masuk dalam daftar 50 besar, yakni Modernhaus (11), Cosmo Pony (15), Carrots Bar (21), dan The Golden Tooth (40). Sementara itu, Between the Sips dan Hats Bar melengkapi pencapaian tersebut setelah berhasil menembus daftar peringkat 51-100.

Selain daftar utama, Asia&#8217;s 50 Best Bars 2026 juga menganugerahkan sejumlah penghargaan khusus. Shelley Tai menerima Altos Bartenders&#8217; Bartender Award, Smoke &amp; Bitters meraih Michter&#8217;s Art of Hospitality Award, Bar Sathorn memenangkan Nikka Highest Climber Award, Bar Us memperoleh Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award, Kinsman membawa pulang Best Cocktail Menu Award, Workshop14 dinobatkan sebagai Best New Opening, Indra Kantono menerima Roku Industry Icon Award, sementara Hats Bar dari Jakarta meraih Campari One To Watch Award.
